Ingredients
- 225g chicken pieces
- 1 piece, sliced saba banana
- 1/2 large, cubed potato
- 90g chickpeas
- 4 pieces, chopped long green beans
- 1/8 head, quartered cabbage
- 1/4 bunch bok choy
- 1/4 piece, chopped yellow onion
- 1 clove, chopped garlic
- 1/2 piece, wedged tomatoes
- 1/2 piece, sliced Chorizo de bilbao
- 3/4 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/4 piece Maggi Magic Chicken Cube
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- to taste fish sauce
- to taste ground black pepper
Steps
- Slice the saba bananas, and cube the potatoes.
- Chop the onion and garlic, and slice the tomatoes and Chorizo de Bilbao.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the banana slices until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Fry the potato cubes until lightly browned. Set aside.
- Sear the chicken pieces until slightly golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the onions, followed by garlic until aromatic, then add tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Add the Chorizo de Bilbao and the cooked chicken. Stir in tomato paste, then pour water into the pan.
- Bring to a boil, adding the chicken cube to dissolve.
- Add chickpeas, bananas, and potatoes. Cook together.
- Introduce the green beans and cabbage. Cover and cook slightly.
- Season with fish sauce and pepper, add bok choy. Cover and turn off the heat, allowing residual heat to finish cooking.
