Ingredients
- 200 grams Ground pork
- 1 medium, grated Carrots
- 3 stalks, chopped Green onions
- 3 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1 small, finely chopped Onion
- to taste Salt
- to taste Ground black pepper
- 10 pieces Spring roll wrappers
- for frying Cooking oil
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground pork, grated carrots, chopped green onions, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, and pepper.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly.
- Take a spring roll wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling on the lower edge of the wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly, sealing the edges with water.
- Heat the cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Carefully place the spring rolls in the oil, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side.
- Remove the lumpiang shanghai from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce.
