Grilled Bangus with Broccoli and Brown Rice
Bangus belly is naturally fatty, but the fillet keeps it lean. Marinated in calamansi and garlic, grilled until crisp on the outside. Broccoli steamed alongside adds fiber and keeps total fat in check.

Ingredients
- 200g Bangus (Milkfish) Fillet
- 1 cup cooked Brown Rice
- 150g, cut into florets Broccoli
- 4 pcs Calamansi
- 4 cloves minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Steps
- Marinate bangus fillet in calamansi juice, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper for 15 minutes.
- Grill over medium-high heat, 4–5 minutes per side until skin is crisp and flesh is cooked through.
- Steam broccoli florets 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp. Season with a pinch of salt.
- Serve bangus and broccoli over brown rice.
