Ingredients
- 75g Beef heart, cubed
- 75g Beef small intestine, cleaned
- 75g Beef tripe, cleaned
- 40g Beef liver, cubed
- 75g Beef kidney, cubed
- 3.6g Knorr Sinigang sa Sampaloc Mix
- 1/6 piece Onion, chopped
- 0.5 thumb Ginger, minced
- 1 clove Garlic, crushed
- 0.5 piece Long green pepper, sliced
- to taste Beef bile
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1/2 tbsp Cooking oil
- 1 and 1/3 cups Water
Steps
- Rinse the beef tripe and intestine thoroughly. Boil them with the ginger and a bay leaf on medium heat until tender, then allow them to cool before slicing into smaller pieces.
- In a deep cooking pan, heat the oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic until softened, then stir in the beef heart and kidney, cooking until they lightly brown.
- Add the prepared tripe and intestine, stirring briefly, then pour in the water. Allow it to come to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer gently until the heart and kidney become tender.
- Mix in the liver along with a bit of bile, simmering the mixture for 15 minutes at medium heat.
- Sprinkle the Sinigang sa Sampaloc Mix, then drop the sliced green peppers into the pot. Season with salt and pepper to your liking and give everything a final stir before serving hot in a bowl.
