- 90g Beef sirloin
- 1/5 piece Green bell pepper
- 1/5 piece Red bell pepper
- 1/5 piece Yellow onion
- 2 teaspoons Cooking oil
- to taste White pepper powder
- 2/5 tablespoon Water
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
- 3/5 tablespoon Oyster sauce
- 1/5 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1/20 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/6 cup Chicken broth
- 2/5 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1/10 teaspoon White sugar
- 1/20 teaspoon Sesame oil
Steps
- Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and mix it with Shaoxing wine, water, cornstarch, oyster sauce, and a sprinkle of baking soda in a bowl. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 3 hours.
- Blend chicken broth, soy sauce, more oyster sauce, white sugar, and sesame oil in a separate bowl to create the stir-fry sauce.
- Heat oil in a pan over high heat and brown the marinated beef. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, using the remaining oil, add sliced green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and onion. Sauté until vegetables are softened and the onions are translucent.
- Return the beef to the pan with vegetables and pour in the prepared sauce. Cook on high heat, stirring until the sauce thickens. Add white pepper to taste.
- Serve the stir-fry warm alongside steamed rice.
